memorable experience - rocks, relics and rumbles

Scafell Pike had a great memorable experience today learning about fossils, rocks and relics! They were given the chance to sort and label rocks and minerals whilst handling them giving them first hand experience! They learnt about fossils and ammonites and were able to handle and look at several examples of these. They saw fossilised mammoth and shark teeth, so many ammonites and were able to handle a range of different sized animals’ vertebrae!
